That's why I said it the way I did. I'm shorter than Jeff-Jeff as well. I have to lie to get to 5'5".

Great post Bob, even if I am late to the thread.

The wife and I decided to buy mostly for our kids and grand kids this year. While we were shopping we got a couple of things we needed anyway so the kids wouldn't think it was weird that we had no gifts to open. Like some of you have already said, it wasn't about affordability, just a decision.

We were fortunate to have everyone at our house Christmas morning and it was great. My girls are 23 and 25 so it's been years since I've seen that kind of Christmas morning excitement.

I know all the gift giving can be stressful but I guess I am still a kid at heart when it comes to Christmas. I love it.

Hope it was happy for everyone.
