Reshafting issues

I pulled the stock shaft out of the Hibore XL tour and prepped the Whiteboard and Hibore hosel. Dry fit it and it was loose as a goose. Good thing I checked.

They all fit into the TEE head...

The FTi will be here in a few days. I bought the Whiteboard for the XL tour head. It was supposed to be a .350 tip shaft but it's a .335. Might just sell it. You want it?

I was going to tell you the HiBore's hosel size is .350, but I see you already figured that out. You could just shim it, the Matrix Ozik in my HiBore is a .335 tip, I just had them use a brass shim.

Yeah, I knew that already. The Diamana was supposed to be a .350 tip, it's obviously not though.

$205 Yes, I know it's rather high but what does a ion flowerband 73S Whiteboard 43.75" pull go for... Yeah, I don't know either since it's the only one on the entire internet right now. lol. My point? It's the most desireable weight, flex and long enough to play 45" in any head.

Ez, I thought you would know enough to know that the only .350 Diamanas are the 63G Blueboards made for the R7425.

BTW, in my opinion, Diamanas look much better logo down.

I agree but this one was SST pured, that's where the spine is. I'm not sure that's entirely true on the Diamana's but I'll find out on WRX. I think there .350's made for manufacturers that have "gt4" instead of "X5ct" on them.

OK, I'm going to see if I can get one at Dick's or Golfer's Warehouse as well.

Well, I brought the FTi and Hibore to the shop to be reshafted and left them there. WB in Hibore and the Creation to go into the FTi.


Being the ho that I am, this baby was on the used rack with a blue sticker on it. A $50 a $20 and a few ones and she was all mine.

and if you wanted to pull the shaft and sell it by itself you could get $40 for it most likely..

so thats a nice pickup!

This is how I know my swing is getting better. I couldn't hit the R7TP or the R510TP well at all as recently as a year ago. I took the R7TP to Triggs today and hit a lot of big draws, borderline hooks. My boss was with me and had the wrench for his SQ in the bag. I changed it to nuetral and the draws got controllable. Started ripping it. I had 101 in a 402 yd. par 4, dead on the 100marker, ripped 15yd. draw. 90yds. past the next closest in the foursome. I could play this thing if I wanted to and that makes me feel pretty good. Can't wait for the FTi and XL tour now.
