Well, i had committed to creating some "rhetorical questions and statements" on the other site, but i'm going to post them here from now on. It'll be a fresh start, and most people here seem to get along well enough.

Any additions or comments would be appreciated. Fire at will.

1). A thin shot, not matter how well struck, never goes as far as a crisp one, unless it's a wedge. Then it goes 3 times as far.

2). How come i can draw my 3 iron, but not my 4?

3). Can the average joe make his own "Balance Bracelet"?

4). Why won't it stop raining here?

5). Has anyone else checked out the pic of the new ERC irons in the equipment forum? Opinions, please....

6). Is it crazy to pair guys up in alternate shot, just because they play the same brand of ball?

7). Are hot dogs not the best thing for after 9 holes or what?

8). Is gas expensive where you guys live? Geeze...

9). If my range game was as good as my course game, i'd be pro.

10). Is that my lunch burning?

That's my favorite shot---the 60 yard approach that I skull 90 yards deep.

4). Why won't it stop raining here?

We have the same stuff down here. However, it's in the form of brief thunderstorms that time themselves oh-so perfectly right in the middle of our after-work 9.

7). Are hot dogs not the best thing for after 9 holes or what?

The best, and healthiest.

8). Is gas expensive where you guys live? Geeze...

Yup, I just heard it's selling for $45 a barrell because of a shortage. You could stand you use a little less Vaseline, Bravo. You're affecting the rest of us.

10). Is that my lunch burning?

A burning house warrants a trip to a non-burning golf course.

Great stuff, Rock...props if you came up with those on your own. They're hilarious.

Almost always. 190 yr. par 3. Hitting my can't fail 22* utility. Hit it thin, real thin. Line drive about 10' feet off the groud. I actually thought it was gonna be long, but it lands about 5' in front of a very elevated green and takes a soft bounce to about 15' from the hole. Missed the putt, but a par at that point was golden. :D

It's Sept. 1 in Central Texas. It should be at least 95 today but it's only 84 degrees and instead of playing golf I'm going to Home Depot to buy myself some work. I wish it was raining.

If they're Hebrew National then they are the best.

Had a cold sandwich today, thanks for rubbing it in. :p

11.) Is there anything better than a new putter that works?

I make my own inexpensive gas, but the smell isn't the same.

12. Why is it that when yer having yer worst round for years yer best golfing buddy is shooting the lights out

13. Why is it that when you're having the worst round of your life, and yer buddy his best, that when he helps you look for yer lost ball he ends up finding 6, but none of them yours

14. Why is it when you've had yer worst round for years and yer buddy his best, that yer missus rings and tells ya not to be in a rush home to stay in the clubhouse bar for a hour or two

15. Why is it when you've had yer worst round for years and yer buddy his best, he insists on giving swing/alignment tips to you in the clubhouse bar

16. Why is it when you've had yer worst round for years and yer buddy his best, and he's giving swing/alignment tips to you in the clubhouse bar that he doesn't realsie that you've gone home early.

17. Why are all demo clubs 6 irons? I think I hit a 6 iron once every other round.

Why is it that the only time you had a hole in one - you did NOT enter the dogfight tournament that awarded a car for that hole??

(true story - but did not happen to me)

Why is it that your missus should be your best buddy instead of this guy that lit your arse up? ;)

I think all these aformentioned statements speak for themselves on the subject! :D

Canadian winters are REALLY long. A few sheep in the house make for baaaaaa...d company.

Are these candidates for "partners"? I met them today at Graves Mountain Fall Festival. While they are not sheep, the one without horns is kinda sexy..........
