There are just a few, requests really and some notes on moderation.

This is a forum about golf......no politics please.

I love politics, and I love to tell people that they are wrong and then go on to tell them why, HOWEVER, it is a subject that is divisive like no other so I'll post my maniacal ravings elsewhere and I ask that you do the same.

I ask for courtesy, I know that's not always going to happen but please keep it in mind.

I have assigned Bravo, Loop, bdcrowe and Rockford35 as moderators with full control. I have asked them that they be so moderate in their moderation that you will hardly notice them at all in that capacity......In other words, they have been instructed to lock posts only when absolutely necessary and never to delete one. On the rare occasion that someone posts something so egregious that it needs to leave....it will be moved to the admin area for review and may be restored due to my long standing love of giving people enough rope to hang themselves in the eyes of the community.

Multiple personas are not welcome, pick a screen name and stick with it, I don't need the aggravation

I have no restrictions on image posting (size wise) ....any porn will be deleted and appropriate warnings issued. I suspect that as the gallery fills up I may need to place some size restrictions but that is way off in the future.

I welcome all input.....I can't think of everything so anything you can do to help improve the site would be great!

Great rules, Sling. Common sense, unless you're a liberal democr... Oh, wait... Sorry... I think our core group here will keep things on the up-n-up, and I also think this core group will attract great people, that will become the core group that will attract the right people, that will attract...........

It was MGB but that's close. MG stood for Morris Gargage and they had maybe three models. B, Midget and B GT. Fun cars but you needed a mechanic on retainer.

Sling, you have a thankless job and in the short time I've been in the forum, I think you do it well. This is a forum for golf, and other subjects may be discussed if they relate to the game. However, if one really wants to get involved in politics, etc., there are discussion groups for all subjects. Here, it is the responsibility of all to follow your rules and stick to golf.

Sling, you have a thankless job and in the short time I've been in the forum, I think you do it well. This is a forum for golf, and other subjects may be discussed if they relate to the game. However, if one really wants to get involved in politics, etc., there are discussion groups for all subjects. Here, it is the responsibility of all to follow your rules and stick to golf.

Or become a premium member and talk all the politics you want in the members section.

However, make sure your children are not in the room when viewing some of Sssmokin's posts.
