I went to the driving range last night and after digging a 2 foot hole in the ground from hitting behind the ball the shop pro came over to talk to me. (I think he was more concerned with me killing all the grass rather than my swing) but he watched me for a minute or two and found that I was breaking my wrist to soon on the downswing. He has me slow my swing down a lot (I look like a freak when I swing now), but I can feel what I was doing wrong, and he showed me where I should be breaking my wrist. The difference was amazing. I am actually hitting straight, only 3/4 distance, but straight. So I decided to sign up for a 1 hour session with him next week. I didn’t want to take a series of 3/6/9 until I know my learning style and his teaching style are compatible.
Living in Florida golf pros are a dime a dozen, is there anything I should look for to make sure I am taking lessons from the right guy? I did see him hit about 12 balls and they were all perfect. (I HATE HIM
