Wow.

Tivo is freaking amazing. I am free from watching television in much the same way as I am free from going to a movie theatre to watch a movie.

I now watch tv on my own time.

Amazing technology!!!

It is truly one of the very finest inventions of all time.

I got two of them about 18 months ago. On a scale of 1-10, I expected a 7 and I got a 12.

The good news for you is that as time passes, it gets better and better.

It will take you a few weeks to truly understand all it can do for you.

What is your storage capacity?

Bravo, I got an 80 gig storage capacity with the built in DVD-RW drive built into the Tivo unit (I know that is not a lot but I am not a couch potato)...

Figure I will burn the DVDs and then edit them on my computer to get rid of the commercials later...

It is so pimp.

I already selected a season pass (free with tivo) for The Big Break; Chicks version, 24, American Idol, etc...

I can't wait until Lance Armstrong goes for his 7th Tour... Shoot I had to get up at 4:00 in the morning to record and watch that last year...

Dang Bravo, you have everything... :)

Smart to get the burner. I don't have one yet and the wife has been frowning on it.

This is ironic because she questioned why we needed the Tivo's in the first place and she is by far the dominant user of the one in our den.

Our kids use the one in the back TV room.

You have plenty of capacity at 80mb as long as you have the burner. You will never need to upgrade.

What did that unit cost you?

Tivo/DVR is freaking awesome. As I've mentioned before, you won't know just how cool it is until you get it yourself. My wife and I watched the Apprentice and Survivor last night in a combined hour and 15 minutes.

I never watch live tv anymore. I'll wait 20 min and start the show and skip the ads. You can give yourself tons of free time!
