Here in Kansas overnight we received 8, count them eight, inches of snow, at first the weather people predicted flurries, then no snow and sun, and then 8 inches of snow come from nowhere

I guess you're getting the colder version of what came through here. We've had 8 inches of rain in the last 10 days. Other areas had more with flooding. Did squeeze in one day of golf last Sat.

When it comes time to go to college you might want to give some thought to schools south of Kansas. A cold front came in last night and it will still reach 60 today. Just an idea.
