Some of the tracks I play and their current condition.
Pines Pompano Beach, redesigned by Greg Norman, hard greens, a little slow, but roll great, fairways starting to dry out, tee boxes great, usually a 4 hour round.
Heron Bay former PGA tour stop. Greens just airated and playing ok, fairways a little rough with weed, but not too bad, greens hard and when a tourney is playing around 11.5 on the meter, usually a slow 9.5, tee boxes good, round of play 3 hours to 4.5 hours
Cypress Palm Aire, recently redone some greens, probably best shape of the Palm Aire courses, plays 3 to 4.5 hours.
Colony West, rough fairways and tee boxes and greens, a tough great course though, CHEAP and fast 2 to 3 hours most rounds.
Coral Springs Country Club, new greens, rough fairways some tee boxes rough, pace of play around 4 hours.
Carolina club, usually in great shape plays 4 hours or so.
Most of the courses above are 30 to 40 buck range, Carolina 50.
