A lot of forums are donig this though I've had the idea for quite a while now.

Well it could be USA vs The rest of the world. So basically the uk people which is me and IG and canada against all you Americans.

The way this could work, is form the months of May-september each week everyone reprts back one card in my case in competiton, or if you are don't play competions then just recreational. I'm not 100% sure what way we could make it work the cards combined of the teams or simply the best card out of each team. That's why I'm asking you it could be so much fun we are all regulars here and get along. What do you think?

Just start it off everyone put in your own ideads on how we can do it etc...

If everyone approves make this sticky so we keep this topic flwing until it actually happens

Thank you.

Interesting Idea, but I fail to see how a match play type could work, considering most of us can hardly get in touch. But stroke play would be do-able.
We can choose a date, and play let's say 2 rounds. Then we report back here our score, and see who wins a beer. :)

Find those in a somewhat connected area to play in twos or fours. Play two rounds in one day, reporting and verifying scorecards. Scores will be adjusted per slope rating of the course. The way I was hitting on the range today with my tempo work, I'm voting for doing it ASAP before this magic pill wears off. ;)

PS... A little known rule is that once a players wins in America, they have to play on the US team. So, we get IG now. Sorry guys. IG, welcome to the world of the yanks...

Know way we are struggling enough I want IG to represent with us "TROTW".

Well I suspect the result may be something similar to the real ryder cup so maybeyou should have him. :p
Don't make me bring Besson in here TM. On second though, you'll need IG with you to interpret the rules. :p

Besson?????????? What exacactly will he do?

Oh I know the rules all right. I will be handing in competiton cards that are signed by men I play with each saturday, don't go there BD I don't like being accused in the wrong.
That was a gentle ribbing. Don't be so touchy.

I'm not I was joking it was in a sarcastic voice. Don't worry I don't think I have ever made a post where I have ACTUALLY been angry on these forums. I say i'm outraged about those pm's like I care.
That's trash-talk, my brutha. But kinda hard in a forum huh? Kinda like doing a 2 man comedy skit on a delay. LOL

If you get to be marshall then I want to drive the beverage cart. I won't be wearing a red thong though. :p

Strong, but none of them can play golf. ;)

And if Dave's wearing a red thong, i'm going to need someone to break their putter and stab out my eyes with the broken shaft. ;)

I think I'll watch from the sidelines...unless we're handicapping it.

I have an idea, assuming we all know our correct indexs. And are honest. Im working a spread sheet, that will adjust the scores you shott based on your index then caculate a +-/ score based on a par of 72. if we set this to set number of weeks say 10 at the end od the ten weeks the team with the lowest +/- would win. as soon as i wokr out the spread sheet ill post it for you guys to look at?

In the spirit of the real thing, we'll all be wearing red thongs as our uniform. TM, can you putt with a broken putter?

My "index", based on unofficial handicapping software from the Golf Channel website (because I'm not a member anywhere that provides handicapping and don't play any of the same courses enough to get a handicap), is at the very least honest, if not artificially low, because there have been a few really high rounds that haven't gone in...often because I've stopped keeping score before the end...usually so that I can leave the course still having fun, heh.
