well i'm in abit of a pickle over my wedges. i'm not sure what to go with i'm going to drop my 2i and 3i regardless for a hybrid, this is leaving some space in the bag, i currently play pw (47* i think) a 54*and 60* i'm thinking about putting in a 50* gap wedge or maybe bending my 54* to a 52* and putting in a 56* and keeping the 60*

my gaps are
pw 120-130
54* 90-110
60* 70 and below

look forward to the advice

It's all about personal preference and the course you play. Some courses you find yourself using a particular club more than others.

I play a 47, 52, 56 and that's it. Personally don't need anything else, but i know a lot of guys love their 60's.

If you start bending for loft you will alter bounce. I wouldn't bend more than a degree or 2 max. I like the 4 wedge set up for me. I like the idea of the 50.

First, get your PW loft measured.
-If its 45º you can add a 50º GW and bend the SW to end up with a 45-50-55-60 configuration
-If its 47º you can go for the 52º from your 54º, add a 56º and maybe a 60º if you wish

Ditto. Definitely get your PW measured.

My wedges are -
PW - 47º
GW - 52º
SW/LW - 58º

I agree with the comments so far.
If your course has soft fluffy sand or if you use your 54* out of thick rough a lot, you probably don't want to bend it strong and reduce the bounce. You may be able to bend it to 55* and play 47, 51, 55, 60. This would probably give you low bounce options with the 51 and 60 and a nice high bounce on the 55.
If your course has course wet thin sand, reducing the bounce might not be a horrible idea.

when you miss, what usually happens? hit it thin? fat? I'd recommend picking a wedge set up that helps you minimize mistakes and matches course conditions. Maybe even one of those silly chipper things could help you lower your score?

what's the top of your bag look like?

i tend to hit my irons and wedges fairly clean and my course is firm in the summer lack of bounce isn't too much of a worry. at the minute i am playing

driver- titleist 910 d2 9.5
3 wood - titleist 906 13.5
irons - titleist 755 2-pw (checked up on pw it is 47*)

but like i say i'm going to drop the 2i 3i and replace them with a hybrid that will leave me with room for an extra wedge

First, wise choice to drop the long irons in favor of a hybrid. I'm sure you won't be disappointed. Second I agree with the comment about minimizing your errors on the course. Wedges that can help there are perfect.

My wedge set up goes PW (48*) and 53 and 58. I wanted to keep the lofts evenly spaced to avoid any yardage gaps. This is a newer setup for me, I dropped the 60* mid season, in favor of a simplistic setup. Four wedges wasn't working for me.

Sounds like PW, GW-50, SW-55,56 and LW-60 should do it for you!

I have all of my irons bent a degree weak, so my PW is 48 and I play a 52* and a 58*, just a matter of how you like them to space out. As mentioned earlier, you will change bounce if you alter lofts, but you will also change the offset of the clubs bending them as well, stronger will add offset and weaker will reduce it.

Yes, all depends on what you like. I currently have 3. I tried 4 but it didn't do anything for me. I use 47*, 52*, and 57*

Another thing to consider is the course itself when choosing your wedges. I have a garage full of wedges and use them depending on a few factors.

When the course is hard and dry I use the wedges with less bounce and always take my 60* with me.
When it soft and mushy out I use more bounce and the 56* becomes my loftiest club.
When the sand is hard and firm my 60* low bounce becomes the sand wedge as well.
When sand is dry and fluffy and I use the 56* and like at least 11* of bounce.

Wedges are tools, and have specific purposes in specific conditions. There is no one set of wedges that is good for all scenarios.
