Just wanted to thank those that gave me some wisdom on wheeling and dealing for the Callaway BB Fusion irons I was demoing with itent to buy 
We settled on a deal today. I turned in the 4-SW set with the Callaway Reg Flex Graphite RCH 75i shafts.
Struck a deal on a 3-PW set, 1" over, and 3* upright with Rifle Project X 6.0 iron shafts and Golf Pride Full Cord Tour Velvets
They feel great to me, nice and solid and these shafts seem to really let me go at it better than the graphites.
Final price $650, no tax and a certificate for full re-gripping once the cords wear. I'm happy with the deal and hope to begin working hard on the game again and get all this technical/spec stuff out of my head for a while.
