AAAIIIIEEEE!!!! RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!!!!

OK, here's the real story:

I work at a local TV station and one day a spider parked itself on the lens of our skycam that we use for our weathercasts. I you look closely, you can see the spider lunching on an unfortunate fly.

Nice pic. Looks like the water is finally going down to normal levels.

I talked with a guy on the weekend from the Melfort area, said he's had over 28" of rain this year. That's alot considering the norm for that area is around 11-12 inches, including snowfall...

BBD, where are you working these days?

I work at CTV Saskatoon.

And yes the water's down to normal levels. It was pretty bad in some low-lying areas. Some roads had to be closed and there were a lot of flooded basements.

Can't handle spiders, gimme snakes any day! A couple years ago on a fishing trip a buddy and I were on our hands and knees (on the dock) hanging onto another boat while he was fixing something...I looked over and a tarantula was crawling up my buddies leg!! Holding that boat became less important at that time! LOL!

Scorpions suck too!

I was sweeping some dust off the back patio the other day and a couple twigs landed on a spider web below it. Once they hit, a nice sized black widow crawled out from under the patio to see what she had scored. I promptly went to get a bottle of something aeresol and a lighter and torched the little bastard. Spiders suck!
