I have the CS-3 with neutral weighting, 10.5 degrees with the regular flex Aldila shaft, and to tell the truth, I am somewhat disappointed with it.

The weights are NOT adjustable, even by a pro shop, so what you buy is what you are stuck with.

I am very inconsistent with this driver and even when I hit the sweetspot, my max ball flight is 250 yards.

I have a launch monitor appointment tomorrow; after I go, I'll let you know whether it's me or the club.

If the Big Ben keeps pissing me off the way it did yesterday, the review will consist of "It felt so good to smash the head against a large pine tree."

Not to be a nerd, but this really should be in the Equipment Forum.

Just FYI.

I'll move it soon enough.

Launch monitor session today. Geez, I feel like an old man.

Hogan Big Ben CS-3, / Other 12 degree 460cc,
10.5 degrees, Aldila 70gm regular flex / 45 gm, regular flex
Ball speed/mph 115 / 119
Clubhead speed/mph 82 / 86
Launch angle/degrees 17.8 / 18.6
Backspin 2678 / 2790
Sidespin 49 rpm / 180 rpm
Distance/yards 202 / 217
Swing path/degree -1 / -3
Azimuth -3.8 / -4.8
Face Angle -3.7 / -4.8
Flight time/sec 5.9 / 6.3
max height/yard 28.2 / 33
off line/yard -11.8 / -11

We are going to start by cutting the Big Ben 1" as my swing is very flat with this standard length driver. Will pick it up on Friday. Until then the shop owner loaned me a persimmon Louisville Smart 2. :D

Actually, while I know what azimuth means, I do not know if my measurement was considered good, bad, or average. I was more concerned about the pitiful distance measurement.

This driver in "stock" Aldila shaft is 45". What length shaft do most people here use?

Keep in mind that the computer was probable set to factory so no wind and completly flat ground so little roll.
Most of your numbers were ok. The offline 11 yds needs to be corrected:)
