I have a left to right fade/slice on my driver and long irons-which really hacks me off 'cos I lose distance.
The fade is really consistent and I have been trying to hit straighter using the standard tips to cure a slice-with no luck-still have a consistent fade/slice.
Then I watched a very short tip video-given by Luke Donald-on how to get more power on drives.
Basically, all he said was 'to get more distance hold the club with the FINGERS of the left hand' (the idea being that this gives you more leverage).
I tried it.
Amazingly my fade/slice vanished!
I was hitting it straight off the tee-someting I haven't do far a couple of years.
......and yes I was getting more distance (including fairway woods)...but that was probably due to the fact I lost the fade.
In my case, Luke's tip for more power has helped to cure a slice problem.
If you have a slice-give it go!
