I was lucky enough in early June to get to play Cog Hill #4(Dubsdred) where the PGA is playing this week.
Let me tell you it is no easy course.
I don't believe anyone will reach number 9 in two this week. Cink was close, but there are so many trees on that hole that you have to hit a perfect drive on the correct side to have a chance.
Number 5 is crazy long for a par 4. 509 uphill.
So far today and yesterday they are not playing 3 of the 4 par 3s from the back tees. Numbers 2, 6, & 14 all have another tee box further back to make the holes longers. Anywhere from 20 to 35 yards longer. I guess they are giving the guys a break the first two days.
I also don't think they are playing number 11 par 5 from the back either. I think they could add another 20 to 30 yards making it almost unreachable.
