As some of you may have seen I am selling off a few of my surplus clubs. This includes my Titleist Irons......they are sweet but I've come to find the heavy heads uncomfortable and so demo'd a few sets with lighter heads and decided to find a set of similar irons.

So I found a set of these in very good nick on the bay for just £99. Hogan Apex FTX 3-E.

Had 2 rounds with them and they are delicious.

Then bought 8 stiff ones of these to go in them

And 8 of these to hold onto

Pro took them in today to assemble and fit to my specs.

Can't wait to get them back.

Thanks to the members here who gave me advice via PMs - it was much appreciated.

I you like a lighter feel that is still solid, the shafts you picked are perfect. My mate has 950's in a set of MP-32's, and they are the best feeling lighter clubs I've ever hit.

Good choices there, IMO. I hope you enjoy them!

To get a true appreciation for the Hogan FTX's you need to see the E wedge. I picked up a set and put Rifle 5.5's into them....sweet.
