Today's pic's are of Highland Park Golf Course, owned by the city of Birmingham and managed by Honors Golf Corp.

This course opened in 1903 and is the oldest course in the state.

A short course at 5800 yards but it is only a Par 70...

Sunny skies - about 68 degrees with a sustained wind of 20 MPH, gusting to 30...

(I think there is something wrong with my camera or I have to go to manual settings because some of these are overexposed)...

Here's number two. This is in the city as you see the shops behind the green and across the street...This hole was 178 with a strong crossing wind.

Yours truly....notice the beer gut. But I am getting in shape guys...Stairmastering like crazy. I'm getting pretty good wind (Also break a lot of wind too).

I'll never have the svelte body shape. BTW - I walked and carried today on this hilly track...

Great pics, I would love to play a course like that it is so beautifal and looks like perfect playing conditions, you just don't get too many days like that in Ireland, what sort of temp was it etc.... wind

I don't have a handicap.

Ha, I see you edited that last one - I was thinking that it didn't look like a 91 yard par 3.

Very cool, beautiful day. Get this, our high today is 66! You might as well be up in Canada!

Here is a 307 yard downhill Par 4. One player flew his onto the green and it held.

He three putted for par.

My tall guy with the r7 put his on the fringe and two putted for birdie...

Sorry about that fellows...Here's our short 91 yard Par 3. I gagged this...worried about the wind carrying it long. If you hit it past the green you go down a ravine...

Just a clear very windy sunny day overall...

Now a big party tonight for the tall one.

I think I feel a good drunk coming on...

Nice pics, B.

Myself? I bought some screwdrivers today. Regular $40 on for 10.

Ya, I think I had the better day.

(Crying in the corner.. :( )
