Okay, so when v grooves are being played in 2010, we can watch our favorite pros fly the green when they're hitting out of rough. Can't wait for that (pardon my sarcasm).

I'm planning to pick up a 60 degree Vokey with low bounce sometime this year or maybe early next year.

My question is, does anybody know if the manufacturers will still be selling U groove wedges to the masses given that the same restriction doesn't apply to us till 2020'ish?

Any clubs manufactured in 2010 and beyond will have the V-grooves. Otherwise they are deemed illegal.

So any OEM you buy in 2010 will have v-grooves. And you won't notice the difference. Neither will the pros.

Much ado about nothing.
