I'm considering sending off the W-506 to get it buffed, repainted, etc. Two seasons of high school golf, a few tree limbs, one cartpath, and my stupidity has taken a toll on it.

Any ideas for where to send it? Consider cost and turnaround time. Thanks.

I've seen a few sets that these guys have done and they do great work:

The Iron Factory

Golfworks does this too. Golfsmith as well if I remember correctly.

Figure $40 per club. 8 clubs, $320 bucks plus shipping.

Can you get a used set in 9/10 for that price?

he's talking about his driver, Rock.

Oh, shit. I never even noticed. I was thinking irons the whole time! :biglol:

Get some Scratch-X from Meguiars and some elbow grease. Buff that sumbitch out and it'll gleam. If you have big dings, you can fill those in with touch up paint.

A whole re-do will cost you a bunch and really isn't factory. I'd just try and find a new head, same make, model, specs.

I'm going to try some Scratch-X. I don't see it worth it to just buy a new club.

There's a group called Golfin' Colors Home Page that could do the work on a driver. However, I'm not the hugest fan of the custom driver heads. If it's gloss black or dark blue, good enough. Everything else is an eyesore, IMO.

Have a look into them if it's a huge deal. Might cost you $40 to get a single head done in something simple.
