Wedge Heads

Looking to build a couple wedges...(i have the bug after building that 5i)

Have looked at the Maltby heads and the snake eyes heads...any others i should look into?

I really like the look of the Nak heads, and i've heard they are great wedges but I have looked for a place that sells Nak heads but i can only seem to find full clubs...any advice rock?

I Searched and found a couple reviews on the site, and everyting i have read is good about both maltby and snake eyes....should i just pick the one i like the look of best and heat up the plastic?

Shoulda mentioned that i want a 50-52º and a 56º set for now....bounce...well, i'm not sure...

ETA: How about these maybe the 53º and the 58º?

Good deal there. I have heard a lot of good things about Maltby wedge heads.

I have one of these in a 56 degree in the basement. I would need $55 for the head, though, so it might be more then you want to spend. Very versatile sole grind on these.

No worries, it was pretty recent. I think Ken at Victory might be able to get Nak stuff too, but I'm not 100% sure.

If you're having problems getting some, let me know. I'll e-mail my guy and see what he has.

Keep in mind, the Naks are .370 tip.

I'm almost afraid to ask how much they cost...

Really leaning towards the Naks...but i think for my first couple(cuz i know there will be more) i might just stick with either the Maltby's or the Snake eyes...still unsure though...

fwiw... for the price of two Maltbys, or one Snake Eyes head, you could get three of those Reid Lockharts that RC52 just posted about the other day.

They're no worse than any component other than Maltby or Snake Eyes which are cheap (for a reason, IMO).

The Naks spin the ball like crazy and look equally as sweet. They have a fantastic finish on them. It'll be hard to go back with anything else.

Have a go with the Nak. Worst case scenario, you sell it. Someone will buy it, I guarantee it.
