Im looking at new woods, I have a 983K and 980F 3 and 5 woods right now. I want new ones because i am changing to stiff flex. Does anyone have any recommendations on what woods to get? I am looking at the Titleist 905T and 905S and the R7 Quad right now. Thanks

Whats your h'cap? The 983K isn't the easiest club to play in the world and you will find moving to a larger head quite strange at first, best to try a few out.

Its also a very personal opinion, many players stuck with the 510TP and swear its bettre than the R7,equally mnay players stuck with the 983E and won't go to the 905.But then again, many have it really is down to personal choice.

The shaft in the 983 is very important,or it has for me,I have the E and needed the Prolaunch shaft to get tghe right trajectory.

The drivers you are looking at are a couple of the best drivers out there and certainly the most expensive, but that doesn't mean they are the best for you.Check out a few others.Certainly if your handicap is over say 14ish then try out the 460 heads.

I think he means fairway woods.

As far as the titleist go, I have no clue. I use sonartec, and have good success with them. To each their own.

I think he might mean them all,the 905s are drivers not fairway woods.

Enyirely personal choice. If you like the 983 you should like the 905,and the R7 is brilliant, although I still prefer my 983E.Off your handicap, shafts are important
