Grats! If you can hit it 200 off the tee and keep it in the fairway, you will do just fine.

Yes sir, when I started playing in March (I was 16 at the time) a good drive for me was about 180 straight. Now I consistently hit between 240 and 270 with the same driver. Keep practicing, watch the pros to see how they swing, and if you can buy some of those foam golf balls from walmart or Dick's Sporting Goods and practice in your back yard just making clean contact and watching the light path. It works wonders.

Aim left. LOL.

The block to the right is either a shaft that is too stiff or a improper weight shift.
A trip to a golf pro will get you on the right track.

FLIGHT path. I suppose I do have the two-three seconds I need to proof-read my entires.. sorry lads!

Experiment with your swing, don't just assume you need to swing exactly the way you are fo the rest of your golf career. Stand directly over the ball and line up the club-face dead-center to the ball, then stand at address and notice it doesn't look entire lined up from there. Making sure you're hitting with the middle of the face will probably reduce your slice and help your distance.

Also, note where your wrists are then you have the club-face squared at address. Make sure that on your downswing, your wrists return to that position by the time you hit the ball, so you make good contact and send the ball straight. Other than that, just practice!

Go to Walmart or Dick's Sporting Goods and buy the FOAM practice balls. I find them to be MUCH MUCH better than the platic wiiffle balls. At wally they're 4 for 3.99, at dick's I think they're more expensive. Your hardest drive will only send them about 100 feet, so don't worry about losing them too often.
