You favorite type of shot and why

I would love to hit a high cut/fade over trees on Westwoods #2 at Waushara Country Club. I have done it a few times, but as of late, it either goes straight, or cuts right away into the trees.

I like to hit a high cut from the deck with my three wood. I swear I should just throw a ball down on the tee box and hit tht shot instead of pulling out the driver. It is a consistent 260 shot right where I'm aiming every time.

This. If you gave me a tunnel of trees on every hole I could do it too. Give me wide open and I have a hard time just envisioning it and doing it to hit a fairway.

I don't know if I hit it better on narrow fairways but I can sure as hell miss those wide open fairways. It's kind of like a lay-up when you have a wide fairway, you have to take it just as seriously as all the other shots...which I'm guilty of forgetting to do.
