Figured this would make a good thread. Let's hear about other golfers you have met through this site. Your friends from Shottalk.

I've had the pleasure of meeting several members and even the boss! I've played twice with Sling. Really nice, easygoing guy who is great to play with. Plus both rounds were free, thanks Sling!! (Oh, and thanks to the Giants defense as well.

Just recently I met up with RickinMA for a round. Had a great time on a beautiful day. We spent half the round talking about clubs. He likes to build his own and is kind of a closet ho, lol. I could tell he really appreciated the time he was able to spend on the course that day and hope he enjoyed my company as much as I did his.

Ooops, I almost forgot, Twofast2's.

Yeah, right. I met twofast about 2yrs. ago I believe. We hit it off right away. I'm not really sure where to start. I guess I should keep it simple, without sounding too homo. Every once in a great, great while you meet someone who becomes a true friend. That's the way I feel, I've got a fairly short list of people I'd consider real friends and twofast is definitely on that list. It's a relationship that surpassed just a golf partner. I really realized it the last few rounds, hit really good shot and think "geez, if twofast could have seen that one". "I might have had a chance of beating him today".

I haven't had the pleasure of meeting anyone from here yet. I was planning on meeting WBL and sssmokin in Ky. learlier this year, but things came up and I couldn't make it. But now I'm really looking forward to meeting as many of ya'll as possible in Tn. this coming April. I hope we can get a really good turn out of Shot Talkers gathered there in one place. :thumbs up:

Where do I start? I've gotten many friends and a brother into this site (ejdahl21, sssmokin, the_bomber etc) and have met and played with many others at our "Wisconsin Shot Talk" outings such as MIKE1218, zaphod, Wi-Golfer, Fitzpatrick and probably some I've missed. All great guys and a joy to play golf with. :)

Oddly enough, it's the guys who don't make male friends easily that are more inclined to be homos. So rest easy, "Futon Buster," and enjoy your friendship, secure in the knowledge that you are a lady-killin' stud.

I've played golf with VtDivot (twice,) Wirehair, Crossfire, UALtim (twice,) Sandwedge, and MCDavis. All of them are great people, and I look forward to any chance I get to play golf with them.

I also look forward to the April trip, when I can meet many more Shottalkers.

I've played with the same crew as Eracer mentionned and had a good time. With me, it's always more about the post golf activities... ie intro to Crab, and a good brew.

I also played with Loop a while back, he hasn't been around in some time. There was a plan to go to CT and meet sling a few years back but the weather wasn't agreeing :(

I'm secure enough not to have to put up walls to protect my manhood. Plus, my ding dong is smart enough to know it has no hope of inseminating a turd.

Yeah, that was pretty priceless...

homo or not, it's always better to play w/ someone who's just as passionate about golf as yourself.

i met RickMA, but haven't played w/ him.

i consider ez as a golf buddy, but i also consider him as one of my close friend. i wouldn't help him w/ his car or whatever if i thought otherwise.

Personally? I've yet to meet anyone. However, next April I will definately be attending and can't wait, so that should be fun.

OK, I have golfed with VTDivot, Wirehair, Crossfire, Sandwedge, and Eracer (3 times, Eracer must be losing it, Westchase April 2007, World Woods: 'the adventure' December 2007, and OCN Crooked Cat July 2008.) Get it right next time, Rodney. :D

I have also met up with Eracer and Sandwedge for the Merchandise show 2008.

The rest of you clowns I feel like I know you well better than other folks I have golfed with locally. I mean, how many folks would relate the fact that the Grip Dry device you sent them designed to keep your putter grip dry found its way to the bottom of their toilet, in person. :D I know most of your golf bags better than the golf bags of my golf friends locally. I know where you bought your clubs and how soon after you sold them and how often you replace your driver(s). For the members, I know what kind of porn your into and which members have some SERIOUS issues with that.

Some things are just best left unknown.:wow:
