How to crash a website in one easy step...

the site was reverted back to 6am this morning, everything posted after that went away, sorry.

Hi Sling, well done getting the database back up ... ahhhh the system rollback is the saviour of all good I.T professionals. However, I do have one issue - yesterday happened to be quite a productive day for me on ST. While the quality and usefulness of my posts is open to debate I do feel cheated out of my post count. Any chance you could give me a subjective count of say 14,000 to take me within 10,000 of Rock ? :D

See, I'm not the only one who calls him Jeff-Jeff (though it calls for a hyphen, Tim). :D

I only call him Jeff-Jeff because you call him Jeff-Jeff. :D Its such a nice cutesy name that I figured it would bother the hell out of him.

Oh, and nice avatar, Claire. I still think you look like Julie Inkster though rather than Julie Andrews. That image, unfortunately, has been burned into my brain.:(

And it works! Still working on "Eric." All that comes to mind is some movie/television show/play where the blond bombshell with a lisp keeps saying what sounds like "Aiwick."

I think I have seen that movie/TV show but I can not think of the name. European blonde bombshell correct? The "Aiwick" sounds very familiar.

You will have to work a bit harder though, not cute enough to cause enough pain when you use it. :D

Of course, you could always just call him "Air Wick"

that's Claire, "practically perfect in every way" or so she would have us believe. ;)

Who else was so pathetically lost yesterday you couldnt stand it???

I ACTUALLY visited another golf forum to see if anyone else was having an issue with this forum...but thats the only reason ...:D

Good thing its back up today...another day of work like yesterday and they would start to expect that kind of production....i dont need that kind of pressure!

My dirty mind only got one meaning out of it. And it wasn't pretty.:p

Those poor guys! :D

Yeah, once I figured it out, it was too late, you guys got to it. Suppose blow was the wrong word to use. :biglol:

I'm sitting on the bus with Saving Abel, right? They are talking about this just horrific story of a friend hooking up with a girl, well, my sister comes on the bus and when she sees me yells, "BOO BOO!!!!!" That's my nickname from being a kid -which I'm sure will be it now on here-, and some of them looked at me to see if I'd get embarassed. Nope.

Nicknames, so long as they aren't cruel, never bothered me, even if they are cutesy. Nicknames usually have an endearing quality about them. :D

OK, Boston Jeff-Jeff. :D

Yup--legend in my own mind! Except you took away my rep and left me with this, instead:  Not a fair trade.
At least I still have friends. And the most profile hits of anyone but you.

No one's even asked, but I went to college with a guy named Jeff and we called him Jeff-Jeff. He operates on people now, which is a really scary thought.

You're right, little buddy! :p

We have Boston to thank for many great things that have influenced our legal system. I also here it is beautiful up there.
