THE 2013 BARCLAYS, THE FIRST EVENT of the FedEx Cup Playoffs, is under way at Liberty National Golf Course in Jersey City, New Jersey. The Deutsche Bank Championship, BMW Championship and Tour Championship will follow. Tiger Woods is the points leader as the playoffs begin.

Purse: $8 million
Winner's share: $1.44 million

I was actually referring to all 5 of them.

A lot of people hate on the playoffs but I love watching them. I bet that some day, Fed-Ex Championships will mean a lot more on a guy's resume...not unlike how we view Majors.

Yeah, I'm actually enjoying them as much as watching a major (perhaps more, depending on the major). I'd love to be able to do the circuit over the 4 events to watch it unfold.

I think a big part of it is the courses they chose. There are 4 top notch courses in the rotation.
