Anyone here deer hunt?

For us, bow season starts Friday and I have the fever. I just bought a new bow, which is prob the reason why I'm itching to get in the tree. Its been 14 years since I had a new bow...so I'm no bow ho. I stuck a couple of trail cams out and snapped some pics of some nice bucks and I'm excited.

I take the Ron White approach to hunting. "It's cold, it's early and I don't want to do it!"

Bow hunting opened two weeks ago here.

I don't have a bow. Mainly because i don't have the time to do all the scouting and setting up i would need to do to put myself on deer around here.

I hunt to fill the freezer....and i can take down deer anywhere within 300 yards with my rifle so i can pretty much sit anywhere tip one over and head home.

bowhunting = mosquitos

Lot's of 'em....

Not after the first couple frosts..which this year, might be pretty early.

Plus there are things called thermo cells which work wonders, as well as clothing that breathes yet keeps the mosquitoes at bay.
