Found an interesting "gizmo" at the Portland Golf Show last weekend

My dad always used the term gizmo, or sometimes the more obscene Spanish term "chingadera."

Anyhow, it's called X Marks the Putt and it's a little tube about the size of a chapstick. It works like a bingo dobber, for marking your ball on the greens. The "ink" fades after 15 minutes and he claims it doesn't hurt the grass.

I think it's a cool idea... I probably won't use it, but I thought the idea was cool.

It makes sense. That means the USGA will ban it.

I have seen similar ones, that use baby powder ... or some other powder substance
