Hybrids in the rough?

I'm thinking of getting a Cleveland Halo hybrid and was wondering how these things work in the rough. Any input appreciated.

Yes,

In short, yes they work form the rough. If you get an elevated lie in the rough they will flat out smoke the ball, if the ball is down in the grass it will still pick it up and toss it. I don't have the Halo specifically, but all my Irons are Hybrid style and I can hit them fine out of the rough, well as far as it all goes anyhow. I am not any more worried about the rough than the fairway. My problem with mine is just hitting them fat. I can do that from any lie.:D

i've had very positive experiences out of rough with a few different hybrids. (adams i-wood, taylormade mid, sonartec md) they all performed quite well and a lot better than what my 3 or 4 irons would/could do!

fwiw, the adams was the best performer out of the rough.
