Dave: I agree with you there. The first time I heard someone use the term LAG, I decided it was short for. Lose Another Game. Sure, it's important to leave it close if you miss, but why not try to sink the first putt, and forget about the second one? Why try to LAG it close, when you can try to sink the putt, and if you do miss, you should be real close.

Practicing LAG putts, is good practice for losing.
