We have an waterway that ices over in the winter on #14 at our course. Already, there are balls out on the ice. Most are guys who hit junk balls out there to hear them "sing". Golf balls bouncing on ice make the neatest "tone" each the hit. By the time the ice melts in the Spring, there will be a couple hundred balls out there.

Is the ice too thin to walk on?

Just checked. It's 5:30 a.m. and 0 degrees. Wind chill is -9. Coldest we've seen so far this year. Supposed to be back in the upper 40's by middle of the week.

Thanks guys for sending all your shit onwards to Ireland. Thankfully it ain't snow, but we now have plenty of wind and even more rain. Cheers for your sloppy seconds!
