I have a 10.5 deg regular stock shaft in my driver. I hit alright, but I'm not content (always the case). Anyway, I'm looking at the Taylormade R580XD, and they have a few different options.
10.5 deg stiff (difference is the shaft)
9.5 deg reg (difference is the loft)
9.5 deg stiff (difference is the loft/shaft)
I hit about 250 relatively well. I don't find that my driver goes EXTREMELY high, but I imagine I could gain some yardage channeling more of that energy forward rather than up. Would that be better accomplished by a lower loft, stiffer shaft, or both?
I'd demo before buying, just wondering what you guys think. Seems to be a wealth of knowledge
