New ball in Rock's bag....huge news

I'd like to try the B330S, is that the soft one? I can't imagine switching the prov

I really like the newer ZUR-C, it is as soft as the ZUR-S, but doesn't spin wuite as much with full wedge shots which is better for my swing. Though if not for an obligation to play the TP balls, the B-330 would be in my bag.

And how are the TP balls? Which is best Red or Black?

:D

I prefer the flight of the TP Red, a little flatter and doesn't spin quite as much off the wedges. I have noticed that there are a few shots here and there that seem to jump off the face a little faster and result in the shot flying a few yards longer than I had planned. A very solid ball though, don't feel like I am losing anything by playing it.

Another vote for the B-330. Hot of the driver and check up on the greens. And also....38 a dozen here!

This is exactly true. The B330 spins a ton, I see no reason to go to the S version.

I think this holds the same amount of water as the HX vs the HX56, but the HX56 spins tons more than the regular Tour, so there's a bit of a difference.

Wow, I'm surprised you guys find the B330 to be a good spinner. For me, not even in the same league as other urethane balls. Feels more like a 2 piece to me spin wise so just could'nt trust it around the greens.

Any brand and model of ball has to be an improvement over Callaway. Every ball I hit of theirs was a disappointment to me.

I'll buy a sleeve and give them a go...if they are as good as a Pro-v1 - I'll switch just to save the $$.

BTW - how did you play with your buddies? Did you have any good wagers or formats??

It's not about the spin for me. I prefer the softness of the V1 or B330 S

i couldn't envison ever switching from the pro V1... played a couple of rounds with a b-330 last year and it was a great ball...probably a little more durable the the prov1 but for feel i keep going back to titleist

i switched from the Pro V`s to Nike One Blacks they just feel better off the clubs to me.plus for me i think the Nikes are a bit longer.

but that why there are so many balls out there everyone has a different feel for what there game needs.

I have to say I love the B330S and it's by far the best all-round ball that I've ever played. But I also think that's why it sometimes gets underrated and doesn't get the respect it deserves!

For me it does everything I could ever need, but isn't the #1 ball in lots of categories - the 'longest' ball I've ever hit is the HX Hot, the 'straightest' ball I've ever hit is the ProV1x, the 'most spin' I ever got is from a ProV1, the best 'feel' for me is from a Nike One Platinum, etc.

Because us golfers are such a fickle lot we always remember the 'best' or 'most' we got from a shot or piece of equipment, and probably overlook the best compromise in our searches for that extra couple of yars, or those one or two strokes shaved off our scores!

The ZUR-S is good but not as good as the new Pro V1X imo, which is a faultless ball in every way.I just fond the Srixon a bit hard of the face of irons for some reason

I don't feel any difference between the two. I used proV1s all last year and then found the B330S on sale this year for $29. I bought 4 dozen so I guess it's my ball for this year.

Durability is better with prov.
