Tampa Outing Part Deux.

Word is in, the family and I will be in Tampa for 10 days in April (4-14). We will be visiting the inlaws and a handful of other snowbirds, I will be able to get away to play for sure sometime during that week.

You're going to be in Indian Rocks Beach, right? I'm in Vegas from the 11th through the 17th. I can get away for a round before that. Pretty flexible on the day (5th - 8th would be best.)

Right now I am off April 3,4,5 and 10,11,12. I could probably make one of those days work.

5th thru 8th the Mrs and I are renting a car and driving to the Keys for some Mommy and Daddy time and some diving. I've read the diving in Key Largo is pretty decent

I can play on Sat the 5th tho and then again later in the week.

I think I'll start practicing my putting now.

Sun Apr 13 - Free
Mon Apr 14 - Leave for home

The 4 free days I am planning on playing golf, a few of those days with my FIL and his senior friends... hopefully not too many exec courses. Sounds like the best time for us to get together would be that first Fri or Sat.

Also, can you give me an indication of what is available near Indian Rocks Beach. I have been scouring the net and it looks as though there are lots of muni type courses around... will fit the FIL budget - he's right out of the 50's lol

I think that was just a chance meeting. I googled him and he's full time on the Asian tour. I think he said he was only in Tampa for a Hooters tour event???

VT - He was playing in that tournament at Brooksville when we met him wasn't he? I had a little trouble understanding him.

I am out for sure on the 4th. The 5th still has a slight chance of me being able to show, but it does not look good at the moment. We have relatives coming in from out of town that I must entertain that week.

I can't make a tee time at Dunedin CC until March 25th. I'm planning on Saturday, April 5th. I don't think Tim can make it. Not sure about anyone else. I'm making a foursome. We'll see how many can be there.

Hopefully I'll be able to join you guys next year and many after that. My aunt sold my great-grandfather's land in Old Saybrook CT. and her and my uncle plan to buy a large condo or house in Tampa area. It would be for winter use for the entire family basically.
