No they dih-unt!!! Did they? What the hell were they thinking???

Word is the CEO's wife is a huge fan. He, the CEO, was retiring shortly after the party and his wife promised to give him his balls back if she could meet Sir EJ.

I think she lied.;)

Been to Sturgis, done Daytona's bike week several times, obviously was at the 100th in Milwaukee since I only lived 30 minutes away at the time.

Sturgis has the best scenery & biker style atmosphere. Daytona is great for the weather, the ocean & lots of fresh fish. Milwaukees event sucks, the roads especially on the lakefront leading down to Bradford beach get totally clogged & it's simply no fun to ride. Maybe it's different if you aren't from the area but for this 105th deal I am staying far far away.

Been there, done them too, throw in Myrtle Beach and I agree with everything you say. Sturgis tops them all.
Exactly. Thats why I always chuckle every time I hear that ad that refers to Milwaukee as the, "Mecca of motorcycling". It may very well be Mecca for Harley enthusiasts, but its a far cry from being the Mecca of motorcycling.
Sturgis and Daytona are 2 events that are pretty much a must-attend at least once in your life if you are a motorcycle enthusiast, but not Milwaukee.
I guess, unlike some people, I dont buy into the whole concept of the Harley mystique. A motorcycle is a motorcycle, regardless of what emblem is on the gastank.

Neither do I. Sure I own a Harley as well as the R1 & Ninja but I absolutely despise the bs spouted by the HD faithful. I like all motorcycles...well except for those piece of shit Buells.

You know, its funny, and Wild Hogs kind of pointed this out well...

Its not about Harleys, or Ducatis, or any of the top end price-wise bikes...it is about getting out, riding, and feeling free. No problem with people, not caring if you are tough, and not pretending to be something you aren't...just being free.

Funny how a lot of riders forgot about that.

yep, far too many are hooked up on the "look at me, i'm a badass" aspect of the sport. But that also applies to riders of all sorts of machines. I have had more than 1 argument with a rider of a sportbike calling Hd roders posers, yet I know a hell of a lot of HD riders who have 50-60-70-100k miles on their machines. Yet I can count with 1 finger the number of sportbike riders I know who has more than 50k on their bike.

Amen to that, I dont care what kinda bike you got, as long as you ride thats all that matters.
I personally like all bikes, I just dont like the attitude that some Harley riders have that they are so superior to all of the non Harley-riding bikers.
I dont tolorate the attitude that some Harley owners have that its either a Harley or a Harley wanna-be. Last time I checked, Harley didnt invent the cruiser segment but some Harley owners sure like to act like they did.

I have never been in a bike, and I surely hope it stays that way;)

You be quiet, I've driven to school before in a Nissan 200SX with my leathers, boots, and helmet on!

No doubt theres an interesting story behind all that. Not that Im any different. Ive driven around before in my truck with my snowmobile suit on (helmet included), just to see if anyone would notice.

Funny, eclark was telling me a story about how he drove up and down Rush Street in Chicago naked, wearing a pair of tap shoes and a nipple ring. Nobody noticed that either.

Nice. Another time I drove around wearing my Slipknot mask (Ive got a replica of the kabuki mask that the drummer wears). A bunch of people gave me weird looks and I kept expecting to get pulled over by a cop, thinking I was going to rob a bank or something, but no dice.
Ahhh, yes, the things you will do for fun when you live in a small town where nothing ever happens...
Ive always wanted to play a round of golf with that mask on. Just picture this, polo shirt, khakis, white golf shoes, shoulder-length red hair and a black and white kabuki mask. How long you think it would be before I would be asked to leave the course? Or, better question, how many marshalls do you think would be afraid to approach me?
