Okay, I've come across a dirt cheap special on TW 14 shoes and I'm wondering whether to pull the trigger. Honest review please? Good and bad points? Also whether their true to size.
Good: balance (feels lilies my feet are a mile wide)
Weight transfer (I had a problem with a few different shoes, bc I roll my left foot alit in my transfer, and most shoes go onto their sides, these twist for me, and I love it, a lot of rotational flex)
Beatheability, for a waterproof shoe (which indeed it is
for us morning folk) I played 18 holes in 80% himidity, and my feet were the only dry part on me.)
Fit is great, fly wire makes the difference, truly hugs my foot, like no other shoe, it feels like part if my foot.
Comfort is amazing nuff said, I could walk 9,000,000 holes in one day without my feet being sore
Cons: only looks, I think they are kinda ugly, but I think that's just me.
All in all, they are the best shoves I have tried, I hit balls at my local range with about ten different pairs on, I would advise that you do the same. If looks are the only con (and that is only me) than that should tell you that they are a damn good shoe
Also forgot to say, the traction in the morning grass is unmatched, I feel like I could play on a hockey rink in these.
I also noticed they ran a size small, I AM a 10, and I have 9.5 for the TW '14, tbh In essence I take off my free run shoes and put on another pair, only with ****es, they are that flexible and comfortable.

It was also demo day at my range today, tried a bunch of irons
Tour preferred (all): sucked all were unforgiving, and went as far as I could throw it
Nike Vr forged combo: loved it ultra long and easily workable left and right, loved the swing weight too
But it was still hard to shank, could only work it so much, very forgiving.
Nike pro blades: strong contact feeling (don't like) super unforgiving but the good ones were good, also very workable.
Titleist ap1: I couldn't work this club to save my life, I only hit it straight, ultra forgiving, and long, but I couldn't fade draw or shank it at all (I want an iron that I can work left and right)
Titleist AP2: loved this one, just as forgiving as it compatriot, but also very workable, great impact feel too, super buttery. Kinda spendy tho
Ping s55: not very long, but great fade and draw control, but never hooked or faded too much. I could control the spin with these clubs too, I could stop the 4 iron in like 15 feet, or let it run, all with an easy stance adjustment. Loved these ones!! Also a very buttery feel, huge plus
Mizuno mp-64: these had the best feeling of any of the aforementioned irons, like I wasn't even making contact. I also loved the trajectory control, I could hit each club very high or low if I wanted too, even the long irons. These are also a great option for me.
When the time comes to get new irons, my first three choices will be the ap2's, the mp-64's, the s55's and the bloke vr forged combos. Taylor Madge's SLDRs 3 metal however was a freaking beast... Too bad I'm not in the market for a new three wood lol

Bought more Q-STAR's today, freaking love this ball, wish it had a bit more spin, but other than that, 0 complaints

More money too, I'm 17 years old and I have 2 jobs, i don't wanna spend another 20$ on golf balls, when the ones that are 20$ less are *almost* as good.

Try out LostGolfBalls-Premium Used Golf Balls or something like it.
I've been disappointed with the (now) lower quality of balls at Lost Golf Balls and when you figure in the shipping it's not such a great deal anymore. Used to be like new on the second highest grade and it seems like they've dropped them a level down the line.

Off the Wagon!
Ordered up a Jetspeed TP after going to a TM fitting day. Found it very interesting, especially the shafts. Spin went from 3500rpm to 2500rpm with a Diamana 62S?? shaft. 1/2" shorter, 2 layers tape. Fitter showed lots of interesting numbers but my smash factor was quite good. Picked up 14 yards overall (~230 carry and 20 yards roll-out).
Also tried the 3 wood and wedges. Hmmm.
