Fairways...

anybody hit Titleist fairway woods?? I am not feeling the hybrid thing...looking to replace my 17* hybrid and 19* 5w....with a 17* 4w and 20* 7w....seen some good deals on the 975F and newer Titleist woods....never hit the fairways only the 975 driver.....I am trying to keep it fairly inexpensive...and go with a something kinda low profile.....any suggestions.

what the bag will look like:
Callaway 9* driver -------stays
Callaway 13* 3+ -------stays
Mizuno 17* hybrid -----goes bye-bye ----replace with 17* 4w
Callaway 19* 5w -----goes bye-bye -----replace with 20* 7w
then steps to 23* 4-iron.

Hybrid will be for sale......Mizuno 17* fli-hi (2006) standard exsar regular shaft with headcover......$50 plus shipping

I play 980F fairways. Finding the right shaft is the tricky part.

That said, rather than buy a 980F 7 wood, which is kind of hard to find, I bought a Nickent 23* hybrid, and except for the slick grip, I love it. Grip will be replaced soon with a GP corded.

904F 22* fairway wood is really fun to hit. My 904F 17* fairway wood just broke. It's ok. It's under warranty.

I have a nice Nike T-40 Tour 17* 4 wood for sale. It has a stiff steel if your intrested in that type of club.
