I just got a Titleist Vokey sand wedge with a beat up grip. The rest of my Titleist set has Golf Pride tour velvets. I have a Mizuno 6iron demo with a brand new GPtv grip on it. I was going to put a training grip on this club anyway. Any suggestions on how to safely remove the grip to swap it? I rolled it back about 1/4 up and it has a strip of tape 3/4 around the shaft.

You can use a coat hanger and try and get it off if you don't have a grip remover, but knowing how soft and supple the Velvets are, i'm thinking you'll end up peircing it and ruining it anyways.

You're best off to just buck up and get a new grip for the cost and effort.

Use your compressor and blow it off. LMAO!

Seriously though, buy a new grip. I think the GPTV's are like $2. $3 tops.

How do you use the compressor anyway? I should buy a new one and not be so cheap. I've regripped a couple sets and use the tape and mineral spirits.
