It had to be today...

Before I took a 6 year break from golf I was a 12 handicap. I came back to the game a couple months ago and I have work back to a 18 handicap.

I played nine holes today with a new friend (a scratch golfer) and I shot the worst score that I have shot in years.

Am I the only one out there to fall apart at the worst time?

No, I just started back after 3 years. I was a 11 handicap after playing for about 13 years and I just played my 5th round after coming back. It seems like a disaster after my 93 today. We just have to remember to keep striving for that single digit handicap.

My handicap is now a 18, but luckily I can see why. My chipping and putting are horrible right now. But, I am going to hang in there and get those scores I used to get...... I shot a 79 for my last round before taking a 3 year break....
