Last week was 'Open Week' at our club. T'was heavily subscribed to, as it gives folks the opportunity to play the course for 20 quid, as opposed to 70 or 90.
Anyways, there were hundreds playing throughout the week, but something very peculiar happened, in that there were 4 X '2's on par-4 holes, and one on our 13th; a par-5 ! Quite remarkable, I thought ! 8, 9, 16 & 17. The unforunate thing is that the people that achieved these '2's only got the same amount of return of money as the guys that achieved them on par 3 holes.
