I've never sold on eBay, but I have a number of things to sell.

I was adding in the PayPal fees.

It seems like new stuff is the only thing that sells well. That 913 fw I sold had like 40+ bids. Everything else I have sold has done good to get 15 bids.

When is the best time of the year to sell? When you auction something, when is the best time/day to end the item?
    Wasn't thinking about Paypal.

Spring is good for golf stuff, but if you don't mind shipping overseas now is a good time too. I tend to not do auctions, to many factors. But When I did, Sunday & Monday are good days to end auctions for golf stuff. That way is weekenders can watch a pro using something or have time to play a round and need to buy a better game. If the auction ends on those days then it can be shipped and in hand usually in time for the next weekend round. Also try to end the auction between 8-10pm est, maybe as late as 11. That way it takes into account folks on the west coast. If you end it at 6 eastern, most people on the west coast aren't home from work yet.

I ship only USPS Priority Mail (even though the mail lady in my town is the mail nazi). It's cheaper and faster than UPS or Fed Ex. Coast to coast in 3 days!

Another thought, I put this disclaimer at the bottom of all my listings. Non paying bidders are a pain and I won't hesitate to relist. Ebay has it set up now so basically a buyer can not pay and get away with it. I have won a few cases and I don't see a non payin strike against any of them.

Payment is expected within 24 hrs. If no payment or contact within 24 hrs I relist. At 48 hrs I open an unpaid item case. Please pay within 24 hrs.

Also, returns. I put in my listing "no returns unless item not as described. If you hit the club or install the shaft, its yours." I doubt if push came to shove I would win against a buyer if they went through paypal or ebay to dispute something, but by having it out there it does cut down on BS. I have had to take things back a few times when I was wrong. DO NOT refund money until the product is in your hand. My last one, I screwed up and admitted it. I offered to pay return shipping too. Buyer was blown away by that, nobody does that. But it was my fault, blueboard shaft marked x5ct is supposed to be a .335 tip. This one was .350 for some reason. oops. But feedback is everything on eBay, one negative would drop my rating below 100%.

Selling on eBay isn't tough and contrary to what many say, I haven't had many issues. Its really your only option unless you want to have an actual yard sale. I don't know what craigslist is like there, but its not really popular here.

I think they teach that in mail lady school.
It's like they don't realize that I have other options or that they are operating with a $5b deficit and are in the brink of bankruptcy. Every time I walk in there she nitpicking my packaging an. Gives me a hard time if I'm eve an ounce off.

The only reason I went there this last time was I didn't want to drive 20 min to the next town over. Should have just given it to the UPS guy.

The Jaws wedges showed up yesterday. The first photo is probably how the bag will start out this year. The next two are of the Jaws wedges. Not good photos. But... I'm stoked about the wedges. Looking forward to having some fun with them this season.
