I've heard nothing but good things on those Jim.

They are funky looking but every review I read was that it was the easiest wedge to hit ever from any lie. It has the FST wedge shaft in it, so that could be good. The weight feels good. I went with different lofts than I normally do, went 52/58 this time. Usually I do 54/60.

I will. The guys in my regular foursome refuse to walk. The bag is a hybrid cart/stand bag. The bottom is supposed to fit in a cart better. It also has 14 full length dividers, which was a must. My old bag sucked in that regard. It really fit the bill for what I was looking for....and it was really cheap. The cart bags that I was looking at were about twice as much.

Tricky, I already had the red brush...so I picked a bag out that would match it.

So what size grips for the driver then? I have a superstroke 2.0 on the putter and the the relation is just killing me.

On my Clevelands I played 46, 51, and 56 which was Ok. Then when I built the Maltby TEs and MMBs I bent them 1° weak (PW=48°) which gave me 48, 52, 56, 60 (Maltby M-Series wedges) which was OK as well. Since then I built these DTG wedges which gives me 48, 54, and 60 which so far I like a lot. I'm not a full swing wedge guy (I will on a rare occasion) and have gotten comfortable with both wedges inside 60 yards. I've changed up my thinking on shots as a result. If I can get an approach shot within 60 yards it's a go otherwise I lay up to a full PW or 9i.

I have been working on those 60-100 yard shots and am becoming more confident in them. Just not enough to take it on the course yet.

I've changed my wedge thinking alit too. My best golf was when I played bump and runs whenever I could. I did that with my Hogans and that PW was money at 48*. I have a hard time playing bump & runs with the Pings. I'm hoping the 52* can be my go to on those type shots.

I also realized that I just can't practice like I used to so the reviews that said these were the easiest wedges to hit really appealed to me.
