Yeah I really went all out this year, but before this year the only brand new clubs I’ve ever had have been wedges, so I decided to actually get a full bag of brand new clubs as a present to myself for finishing school.

I am very fortunate now to have a great job and a great salary, and I’m still living at home and saving a lot of money, so it’s just been fun having a bunch of new clubs!

but yeah the driver was NOT cheap lol

i think I’ll forgo the range honeymoon suite, and straight to hole 1, divorce court !

They all are, the first few rounds. Then, they settle back amongst the masses. :>)

Glad you're enjoying it. Talk nice to it. Take it to bed with you. Cuddle with it between rounds. Drivers are more difficult to understand than blondes... more temperamental than redheads... will stab you in the back quicker than a dark haired witch. Just look at the number of drivers WBL has tried to tame......

Yes! More lessons more practice of course but this driver is making me Even or better distance wise when I play one spot forward whites against good hitters on blues So that seems like what should be occurring

Heck! Move up to the "geezer tees" and your distance will really improve!!!! :>)

I've tried several new drivers over the past few years, and I always come back to my 15 or so year old Nike Sasquatch with the factory shaft, and the square-headed Nike Sq 3 wood.

Maybe it's just confidence and good memories that makes it happen, but overall they treat me better than any of the younger models.

I had a horrible time today. Actually quit the course. Tired feeling. No sleep

so After I left in disgust, went to the store and bought a White hot nano 7g putter lol. So now my putting can get worse also.

The best cure for a poor day on the golf course is to buy a new club(s)!!! Works every time. Why do you think I have 3 sets of irons, a dozen putters, and an assortment of extra wedges... all spending time in the basement???? :>)

Well I did play much better today. Back on the happy train
The new putter was fun. Can’t say I putted a lot better but I do like how it feels overall.
