Finally pulled a few pics from my wife's phone last night. Great place to play. Most of these I didn't even realize she took. The picture of the green is 17 and you can see the tees in the far left corner. Tough tee shot. The tee with me on the box is fun as well, land on the crest of the hill for a blind second shot. How about the driving range?

Those are actually the tees for the second pic, hole 17. I did a pretty bad job of describing any of this actually haha

Is this all at altitude Bames?

That second tee box is at 3133 feet.

Don't ask me how I know that.

Ha, yep, you're weird, plays right around there. Funny what we remember.

So the ball travels further right? How much so, +20 yards?

A little, not sure the actual number. When I played in Denver this past summer I was easily 20-25 yards longer. Took me a few holes to figure it all out.

Denver is at 5280 feet.

I have read that it's 10-12% for every 3000 feet in elevation from MSL. Which, for you, is a pretty straight forward calculation.

For others, like me, it requires more maths. I'm at about 1900 ft now, so playing in Utah at 3100, I'd subtract about 7 yards on my yardage. So, half a club, at most.

At least, that's how I figured it when I was down there.

Cool, so it's like playing in Europe with Meter measurements, its a +10% calculation. 100m = 110 yards. Cool!

Like I said I'd love to play at altitude some day. Scenery looks stunning.
