10.5 vs 11.5 degree Driver?

My next driver will be 27°. I'll crush it.

I subscribe to the loft up camp as well.
I use 12* drivers. I need the ball in the air as long as possible. It sucks when the ground is wet tho. One factoid to consider - the more loft there is on a club, the less side-spin can be imparted on the ball.

If I bought every driver over the years that claimed "15 yards longer" I'd be driving the ball 750 yards by now.
If every article I ever read about adding 10 yards to my drives in Golf and Golf Digest magazines worked I should be hitting the ball much farther then 750 yards by now.

I play an 8.5, but I hit the ball, high, so I need the low loft to keep it down
I have a friend that hit's sky bombs 300 yards and plays a low loft like 8°. How you swing makes alot of difference in what loft you choose. I used to play 9° and hit it high but since I'm now hitting the ball down on top of it's head I've had to go up in loft.

You need a new driver..............................

I just turned 70 and my ss is diminishing. I recently went from a 10.5* driver to a 12* and picked up a few yards. We're playing on cold wet fairways here in Charlotte. I'm hoping for more yards when Spring arrives. I suggest the OP try to find an 11.5 or 12 demo and see what happens.

Today's adjustable drivers make it so much more interesting. I have worn the threads off the screw that attaches my driver to the shaft!!! Good weather, I'll move it to +2 degrees... 12.5. Frozen fairways... -1... 9.5 degrees. When I'm hitting the ball well, the 45 1/2" shaft at the standard 10.5 or at +1... 11.5. Most of the time, though, with the 44" shaft and at +2... 12.5. And... with my awkward swing... probably doesn't make one bit of difference, but it gives me something to cogitate in a feeble mind!

I used to adjust the adapter on my Callaway Rogue 10.5 driver all the time too. However, I when I bought my new TM M6 I decided that 12* was right for me. I did change the shaft (an Atmos 45.75" senior flex) to an old 45" NVS 55R. After seeing Tom Wisham's video about adjustable loft drivers, I'm not convinced they are totally accurate. My mantra is whatever works best for you on the course is the answer.

Besides your swing shafts are high, mid and low loft. I've got a high launch shaft in now and had to go down to 9.5° to get a good shot shape.

I just got fitted into a ping g410 SFT driver swing speed was aggressive 101 mph average. And my best numbers were at 11 degrees of loft. Get fitted it opens your eyes. Most places will throw in the fitting if you buy from them. Except tip I always buy the fitter. A good lunch 20-25 bucks. Then they are tickled to help you the next time. Lol.
