I have revamped my bag now and have only 13clubs. I'm not sure I really need another. I have been practicing with my 54-09 wedge and I can control the trajectory quite well by opening and closing the face. I really don't feel the need for another wedge. Here is my setup, any suggestions for another club or get rid of one get 2 different? Phil had 2 drivers, why not 2 putters? Mallet and a blade.
  • Driver 9.5*
  • 3w 15*
  • 5w 18*
  • Hybrid 23*
  • 5iron-PW (PW 47*)
  • 50-06
  • 54-09
  • putter

How about a 7 wood for trouble shots?:)

That's what the hybrid is. It says 7w/4I on it. I can hit it around 220-225 or choke down and go 210-215. That's the club I use for trouble. I can hit a punch 4ft. off the ground 150yds. with a 50yd. fade on it. I was thinking about a left-handed 7iron for trouble shots. :)

I am debating a second driver

But of a different nature, right now I have the 11* and that will stay, I am thinking that if I got an 8*, I could take advantage of more roll on hard fairways. I can hit the 11* 280 in the air almost 3/4 of the time, 95% past 260, but I do not get more than 20 to 30 yards roll, I have seen guys hit lower lofted drivers and get them to roll out 15 to 20 yards further than that.

Lower loft will be harder to hit straight. I get a lot of roll on my drives with a 9.5*. I can even get 250-260 out of a total wormburner that hits the ground at 50-75 yards. A firm tip gives a lower tragectory too.

What I was trying to say

Ever think about a higher lofted driver? If you are thinking about a second one, then a different loft might be something to consider.

I had a 10.5 last year. It was a bit easier to hit but a good 10yds. shorter. Anything abouve that is getting too close to the 3W. I can hit the 3w 260-270. I really want to get something with the sweet spot a little lower on the face. I put some red marker on a few balls and hit the R7, the sweet spot is up way high on the face.

I had thought about that too since I'm a natural lefty but I was told it's agains't the rules to carry right a left handed clubs unless it's a putter.

I would question that. what rule prohibits that?

Maybe a 58* or a 60* wedge?

Just got rid of my 60*. I used it maybe once every 3 rounds and pretty much scull or chunked the thing 50% of the time anyway. Have been having much better results opening and closing the face on the 54*. I do have a bit of a gap between my 5w and 23*. 2 putters is still in the running though. Mallet for close ones and a blade for the 20 footers.
