Natalie Gulbis withdrew from the HBSC Championship in Singapore before her second round of the tournament due to an unspecified illness.Butch Harmon, her instructor, tweeted about the seriousness of Gulbis' diagnosis as well as LGPA golfer Se Ri Pak's, who withdrew from the tournament earlier in the week.
Just learned both SeRi and Natalie Gulbis putin the hospital in Singapore with Malaria . Hope they both will be ok

But Harmon's report has been refuted by her agent, David Livingston, as well as the LPGA.— Butch Harmon (@43BH) March 1, 2013
Natalie Gulbis' agent (David Livingston) says she wasn't hospitalized, doesn't have malaria, but was treated by doctor for flu-like symptoms

To reiterate earlier tweets, Se Ri Pak has flulike symptoms, not malaria. Natalie Gulbis is being evaluated in Singapore for illness. (Cont)
