Hernando is in Citrus County - about 75 miles north of Tampa and about 20 miles in from the Gulf Coast (near Inverness and Crystal River). We have a home in a small golf community called Citrus Hills. SWMBO and I retire very soon (44 days for me) and we will begin to travel back and forth between the 2 homes. We do not plan to do the 6 month stretch all at once but rather travel when it suits us. We have grandchildren here and in FLA.
