I am a functional apparel design student at Central Michigan University. I am currently working on a garment for a golf caddy. Your input is very valuable to my research. Thank you!

5. Do you apply sunscreen before or during the round? If so where?
6. How much do you hydrate during a round?
a. 0-8oz b. 8- 16oz c. 16-24oz d. 24oz +
7. What is your current required dress?
8. What is the fiber content of your current shirt? i.e. Cotton, Polyester

11. I am designing apparel specifically for golf caddies. What ideas do you have that will help my
design?

1. About four
2. 20-30
3. sometimes if you get a bad strap the tops of your shoulders will be a bit sore. If you get a heavy bag my neck may get sore.
4. 2
5 no
6. b
7. white collard shirt and kaki pants/shorts
8. no idea
9.probably not
10. closer to b

11. maybe a ball washer built into the pocket of your pants.

I don't caddy, but I carry from time to time. So...

1. 4 1/2 hours
2. 20-30 lbs.
3. Neck/shoulder junction
4. I imagine it would be about 3
5. Yes. All exposed skin.
6. 24 oz.+
7. Collared shirt, golf shorts.
8. Polyester
9. Yes, very effective
10. Loose fitting

I don't carry but many of the PGA tour pro's caddy's wear shorts and loose fitting shirts on tour. They also are carrying some seriously heavy bags. Watch Tiger's caddy lug his bag once. I wouldn't last long on his job, my back would be done for. :)
