The wife is pushing me to go somewhere this fall for a little stick. I'm gonna load my tools onto the plane and fly somewhere that has nice tracks, decent people and good food. Well maybe good people and decent food would work too. :D

Anyways, I need a destination. I have to keep it limited to N.A. I've been to Texas, Montana, Wyoming, North Dakota, South Dakota, Idaho, Washington, Minnesota, Arizona, Florida and spent 4 hours in Memphis. ;)

I'd like to try the NE USA. I think the fall would be a good time to be down there swinging the sticks. Florida calls my name too. I've also heard nothing but good things about the Carolina's.

ANyways, just throwing it out there. I really have alot of options, I'm hoping to whittle it down a tad. It'll likely be in September, but that can vary a few weeks here and there.

I've herd that Missouri has awesome landscape I'm sure there is a few nices courses also.

Just NA? Heck Scotland is as close as Florida for you. Why not make it Scotland? I hear they have a lot of sheep over there.

Vermont, New Hampshire would be my choice in the fall, for the North East.
Also Maine is beautiful.
Try the lobster chowder if you're up there. A bowl of it will set you back a price of a Burner, but it's worth it.

I would say try Massatchusetts as well, but as a Jersey boy, I just can't bring myself to say such a thing.:horse:

Well, you could always come to Mississippi, Philadelphia that is. There is a casino there and the Dancing Rabbit Golf Course. I've yet to play it, it's on the agenda this summer. But I've heard it's great, hosted a LPGA event last year I think?

But if your going to make the trip in the fall, look into something in the Chattanooga,Tn. area, the Smoky Mountains are the prettiest place in the world in the fall.

We don't have snow yet in the early fall here! :D

And we're friendly!! :)

And we have some nice courses.... :)

PA was great in the fall Rock.

And NC has been great all "winter", i cant wait for everything to start turning green:)

Rock, if you decide on the Smokies or the Chattanooga area, let me know.
I would love to play a round with you.

Green fees, and lunch would be on me.

I'm sitting in Salisbury right now, delivering in Charlotte in the morning.
Its pretty chilli out here.

Same here if you choose Mississippi, drop me a line and we'll meet up. Like I said, I'm dying to play Dancing Rabbit anyway.

Asheville NC area in the Smokey Mountains in September. Great courses, and the scenery blows ya away. Hard to understand them, but you can use sign language. Not the greatest for food though.

I know... its weird. It was 84 on friday, then all the sudden yesterday dropped down to the 40s.

All last week was beautiful weather.

Wow... Ive been down here too long, today felt cold to me:laugh:. Today was like a good day back home right now:D

No kidding..Any day in the winter above 35 and sunny, was a good day.
As much as I miss the food that I left behind, I dont think I'd want to move back.
